Our Kids ministry meets every Sunday morning at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.
XtremeKidz 2 - A ministry for ages 3 to kindergarten. We believe that it's never too early to teach children about our Heavenly Father. Michelle Stewart and her team use age appropriate lessons and exciting games to teach the Word of God.
XtremeKidz - A ministry for 1st through 6th grade. Kids will enjoy lively worship and exciting games every Sunday morning. The Xtreme Team endeavor to provide an energetic atmosphere for children to learn more about our Creator and His plans!
MPact Girl's Ministries
Every Wednesday night, our Girls Ministries meet at 7:00. Mpact Girls Club is a place where pre-school and elementary aged girls learn biblical truth for living and impacting their world through Bible stories, unit memory verses, crafts, and directed play.

Royal Rangers
Royal Rangers is a mentoring program for future men. We provide Christ-like character formation, and servent leadership developement for boys and uyoung men in a highly relational and fun environment.
Our mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christ-like men and life-long servent leaders.
APEX STUDENT MINISTRIES
Apex, which means "highest attainable point", is designed to create an environment of real, authentic Christianity. Everything we do at Apex is about going higher: From our Next Level Classes on Sunday Mornings to our new Jr. High Ministry "Elevate 6.8" we strive to go "from glory to glory" as 2 Corinthians 3:18 says.
Every Wednesday night at 7:00, our Jr. High and High School students meet in our student ministries building. In our services, we passionately pursue God's presence in our worship and through the Word of God. Before and after service, we offer a variety of opportunities to get connected: from our sanctuary to our game room, you can find a place to be you.

Couples Ministry
Just as the first five years of a child's life determines much of who they become in life, such is the effect of the first five years of a marriage. Foundations are laid during this time that can either create a strong healthy relationship, or an environment of instability that can lead to an insurmountable road ahead.
As a couple experiences learning how to deal with new issues like finances, resolving conflicts, dealing with the past while planning for the future, making decisions as a couple, or building a home, it is critical that the responses to these issues are centered around a practical approach to a Christian marriage.
In Foundations we put these real world issues on the table, explain what the scriptures say about these issues, and discuss how to approach them together as a couple. This gathering of like-minded couples who experience the same issues as others around them are able to connect with one another and find out they aren't the only ones going through the issues they are going through. Through a Biblical approach to solving real world issues, the foundation is laid for a healthy enriching marriage that will last a lifetime.
Crossroads
Statistics say that almost 70% of High School graduates walk out of church for the last time before the age of 22. This is a huge problem for the church of today and tomorrow. That is why we have Crossroads Young Adult Ministry; for we are not another statistic! Crossroads is a college-aged ministry to young adults between the ages of 18 and 25. This ministry is dedicated to providing an alternative to the expected lifestyle of sin right after high school.
Currently, First Assembly of God is in the process of building a state-of-the-art facility just for our Young Adults. The Crossroads building will include many great features such as a main auditorium/stage for our services, a lounge/game area, free Wi-Fi and a Cafe. It is our hopes to have the Crossroad building opened up to our Young Adults throughout the week so that you can come, do your homework, hang out with friends or just relax.
Until that building is completed, Crossroads meets every Monday night at 7:30 in the main sanctuary. When you come, you can expect: relevant Bible teaching, passionate devotion to the Father, and high energy fun. Don't be another statistic. Come and join real people and show this world how different life can be having a relationship with the savior!
Women's Ministries
Our purpose is to reach women through our Christ centered monthly meetings, special events and sectional/district functions. We want to help women find a life of purpose; equipping them for service in our church, our community and our world.

Men's Ministries
Men's Ministry is a great opportunity for men to come together for a time of fellowship, devotion, and prayer. Before Jesus ever organized an evangelistic campaign or even preached a sermon, He called a few men to follow Him. In fact, He gave those men these words in John 13:34-35, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
The men of First Assembly have stepped up and answered His call for love as they meet monthly for a time of discipleship and encouragement, help distribute foods from our Angel Food ministry, and hold meetings Friday evenings lifting up prayers for the church as watchmen on the wall.
The name of our Men's Ministry is Gideon's Army. In Judges 7, Gideon took only 300 hundred men with him to pursue and defeat the enemy. Men, get connected with Gideon's Army as we pursue and take back what the enemy has stolen!
Music Department
In the Music Department at Phenix City First, we look to foster an environment where a celebration and culmination of daily worship throughout the week can occur on Sunday through authentic corporate worship. The selection from week to week varies from hymns that have formed our heritage within the church, to the more modern selections with tremendous message that are currently being written today. Although we have a 'Traditional' service Sunday Mornings which typically offer more hymns, it isn't rare to see a hymn mixed in to the modern service with other selections from worship leaders such as Israel Houghton, Eddie James, Kari Jobe, New Life Worship, Gateway, Hillsong, and Desparation Band.
Our main focus in the music department is to be the first followers to offer our sacrifice of praise to the Father each week. To lead as a worshiper is to be the first follower and the first to surrender all at the feet of Jesus. We strive to do everything we do with excellence, and a servant heart according to God's command. Through outreach events, we look to go beyond just ministering to those within the four walls of the church, by proclaiming the Gospel through song to those in the community.
