Physical Space
During this time, we are blocking off every other pew.
This gives more physical space between people and helps with social distancing. This also creates limited seating to ensure we do not have too many people in each service. So if you're feeling anxious about being crowded, be rest assured that we want you to have plenty of safe physical space. During this time, we are also asking that everyone only sits with people who are in their household. If you are coming with a friend, please consider sitting a few feet a part or wearing your mask during service. |
Wearing masks when not seated
Like most public places, we are asking that people wear a mask when not seated. If you forgot your mask, we do have some available in the foyer.
Times to wear your mask would be:
You are more than welcome to wear your mask while you are seated, but if you feel comfortable taking it off, you are welcome to do so. We understand you are happy to see your church family, but please remember to wear your mask when socializing and practice safe distancing by standing 6 feet a part. We also are discouraging hand shakes, high fives an hugs during this time. Please, keep yourself and others safe by following these guidelines. |
Sanitizing restrooms
Another important addition we've made to our safety procedures is cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
For every in person service, we have a person stationed at each restroom to clean and sanitize after each use. We have signs placed outside the door to let you know when it is being cleaned. For any questions, you may ask the person stationed near the restroom for help. We also have hand sanitizer stationed outside the restroom if you should need some. If you would like to be a part of the cleaning rotation schedule, please call the church office. |
More ways to help
Children's Ministries are slowly but surely coming back into operation.
While some ministries may not be operational right now, please continue to bring your children to sit with you in church. For those who bring children, we have coloring books and crayons provided for you in plastic bags located in the foyer in front of the large mirror. Bringing a toy or electronic device to play with is also welcome. |
